    • 90% reimbursement for each vet bill.

  • How does the plan work?

    The plan reimburses you for covered veterinary services, supplies and needs (once a deductible is met if applicable). And it’s easy to get reimbursed. When you have a claim, simply visit: https://www.petinsurance.com/submit-claim to submit your form.
  • What are the discounts for multiple pets?

    You’ll receive the following discounts when you enroll multiple pets:

    • 1 pet = 5% discount on base medical or wellness plan
    • 2–3 pets = 10% discount on base medical or wellness plan for each pet
    • 4+ pets = 15% discount on base medical or wellness plan for each pet
  • What is Vet Helpline and how does it work?

    Vet Helpline is a service for all our members. Expert veterinarians are available 24/7 to answer general pet questions and help identify urgent care needs. A Vet Helpline consultation is not a substitute for a visit to your primary vet.
  • How do I file a claim?

    It’s easy. Pay your veterinarian directly and then send Nationwide your vet bill and claim form by mail, email, or snap a picture with the VitusVet mobile app. If sending by mail, send to Nationwide Claims Department, P.O. Box 2344, Brea, CA 92822-2344. You can also submit your claim electronically by visiting your Nationwide Pet Account Access Page and track your claim online anytime.
